On June 6, 2024, the group standard launch meeting for the "Technical Specification for Coating of Long acting Low VOC Anti corrosion Coatings for Steel Structures" jointly initiated by the Coating Anti corrosion Technology Innovation Branch of the China International Association for the Promotion of Science and Technology, Youtu Zhizhuang Standard Technology Service (Shanghai) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. was held as scheduled at Shanghai Zhenhua Heavy Industry (Group) Co., Ltd. The purpose of this conference is to promote the innovation and development of anti-corrosion coating technology for steel structures, reduce the emission of volatile organic compounds (VOCs), and achieve green and environmentally friendly industrial coating.

More than 40 representatives from all over the country gathered together, including steel structure factories, bridge factories, port machinery factories, design institutes, coating and raw material enterprises, coating equipment enterprises, coating construction enterprises, research institutes, third-party testing institutions, and industry associations. These representatives, with enthusiasm and expectations for the anti-corrosion coating technology of steel structures, jointly explore and promote technological innovation and development in this field.
